Duma

Duma, ("cheetah" in Swahili - who knew?!) is a luxurious specialty velvet woven on modernized wire looms.  Surface texture is created by leaving some loops of yarn uncut while others are cut to reveal a soft pile.  The highest quality, 100% cotton yarns are custom dyed and hand set and tied into the loom, resulting in a cotton-velvet crafted in a traditional manner yet with a plush, modern interpretation.
